On Thursday, 30th January, at 6 p.m. in Youth house, Kungu Street 24, the young of Liepāja will have an uncredible opportunity to meet Rally Liepāja foreign visitors, ask them questions, as well as receive autographs from rally drivers. Everyone is welcome to join!
In the event will participate such motorists as Pegeot Rally Academy team leader Vincent Ducher, one of ERC junior championship favorites, Chezh racing driver Jan Černý, and the champion of Slovakia rally in year 2013, polish sportist Grzegorz Grzyb. The youngsters will be able to ask questions and take a look at Stephane Lefebvre’s Peugeot 208 R2 car.
During the occasion, will be given a chance for everyone to take part in a contest - answer different questions about rally and win entrance ticket to Rally Liepāja Vecpils stage. There will be also a possibility to take free public transportation to Vecpils stage.
Round 2 of this years FIA European Rally Championship Rally Liepāja will take place from 31st January till 2nd February, along the ice-covered roads of Liepāja and Kuldīga neighbourhoods. both the foreign and the local sportsmen will have to cover 12 special stages with the total length of 240 km.
