Jan is one of the new world rally talents, who already has obtained an impressive WRC, IRC and ERC experience. He is a two-time European champion in 2WD entry (in years 2010 and 2012). In 2011 Jan was a participant in FIA WRC Academy (7th place), and he has also repeatedly won Czech Republic’s rally championship and taken places on the podium both in 2WD and A1 entries.

In last year’s ERC season Czech driver showed the best results in Latvia’s stage, where he took 4th place. He participated in three more ERC events during 2013, however did not manage to get any points, so he closed the season taking 20th place in overall standings.

In this season’s first ERC event which took place in Austria, 23 year-old driver was driving an all-wheel drive “Subaru Impreza”. He was a stable in the TOP10 overall standings and in the TOP3 “Production Cup”, however he had to retire in the 8th stage due to an engine failure.
