Italian Marko Tempestini is participating in Rumanian rally championship since 2008, also complementing it with regular starts in the international arena. Tempestini has managed to attend six World Rally Championship (WRC) stages during his career, achieving the best result in 2008 Wales rally (Great Britain) – 23rd place. 2009 has been one of the best in driver’s career – he won the FIA European Rally Championship’s Eastern zone’s champion’s title as well as the vice-champion title of Rumanian rally championship. In 2012 Tempestini took part in eight Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) stages, occupying 21st place in overall standings (best result in Prime Yalta Rally – 5th place).

Last year Marko also had quite a successful season – bronze medals in Rumanian championship and a good fight in the WRC season’s last stage – Wales rally. Tempestini senior decided to participate in seven stages, showing the best result in Rumania’s stage – 4th place. He took 30th place in ERC overall standings.
