24 year-old Italian Andrea Crugnola is in the rally world already for seven years, however most of the time he has spent at home – Italy. First foreign race for Andrea was Rallye Antibes Cote d’Azur back in 2010, where he was forced to retire. But the next race in Switzerland’s Rallye International du Valais was more successful for the driver, since he finished in the high 5th place overall and won the R3C entry. In 2011 Andrea joined WRC by entering WRC Academy. In this season’s overall standings Andrea was 6th. His best achievement in WRC was in Rallye Deutschland, where he managed to finish on the lowest step on the podium in juniors’ entry. Andrea spent 2012 mostly back in Italy, but last year’s season he started with the prestigious Mote Carlo rally, where he finished 15th in overall standings. He also managed to end the season as vice-champion in Italian rally championship’s junior entry.
