Ralfs Sirmacis has entered rally in very early stage of his life, however has done it great commitment and even greater plans about his own future in the world of rally. First motoring disciplines for Ralfs were cross-carts and autocross – in 2008, being only 14 years old, he became the champion in cross-carts in the North European Zone (NEZ) championship. In 2011, after reaching the allowed age, Ralfs turned to rally completely. The same year Ralfs got the chance to be a part of “OKartes Autosporta akadēmija” team, driving a Ford Fiesta. And right after that in 2012 he was the best in many categories – NEZ Junior champion, Baltic Challenge Cup winner, Latvian Rally-sprint champion in Junior and 2WD entries, Latvian Rally champion in R2 entry – youngest in whole history of Latvia’s rally.

In 2013 Ralfs managed to repeat most of his success, becoming already two-time champion of Latvia.
